The Saudi Passports Directorate started to automatically extend the validity of the final exit visa to all expatriates who were not used during the period of stopping entry and exit from the Kingdom, free of charge for those who expired the extension period until 3/14/1442 AH corresponding to 10/31/2020 AD.

This extension, issued by the Minister of Finance, is part of the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to deal with the effects and consequences of the global pandemic ( Covid-19 ), and in the precautionary and preventive measures that ensure the security of citizens and residents - God willing - and help mitigate the economic and financial impacts.

Passports indicated, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), that the extension of the validity of the final exit visa for expatriates was done electronically in cooperation with the National Information Center through the automated system without going through the review of the headquarters of the Passports departments, as the number of extended visas reached 28,884 visas.
