The Saudi Ministry of Health said that wearing the veil replaces the medical mask "muzzle" to avoid transmission of coronavirus, but only if it meets certain specifications in determining the veil .
The Ministry of Health stated on its official account, “Health 937,” that wearing a veil is an alternative to medical masks , with two conditions:
First: The veil should consist of more than one layer of fabric.
Second: The face veil must be closed and tightened well when worn, especially on the nose and mouth.
This came in response to a citizen’s inquiry about using the niqab instead of masks as a mask.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Health stated that the end of home isolation ends three days after the decline of all symptoms of the Corona virus, especially respiratory symptoms such as coughing.
